When selecting expeditions, look for new unknown monsters appearing on the monster list when choosing an area to explore. From here, the hunter must go on high rank (6 star or higher) expeditions or optional quests and look for tracks of the Deviljho’s presence. After this point, a prompt will alert the player that Deviljho has appeared in the New World.
In order to find Deviljho, the player must have completed investigating “? Rathian” Tracks and hunting it in the main questline.
